LOL! I’m sure Brutus could have come up with quite a few examples of how he and Gladys are compatible, but that answer was perfect! Before my husband and I were married, my future mother-in-law said that we should be glad we found one another, because no one else would be able to put up with us. She said it with a smile on her face, and I thought it was funny because it was true!

(You’re also spending your Sunday hard at work in your comic strip, but I don’t know if you’re aware of that.) Bottom line is that you don’t owe her any explanation of anything.
