The cops didn’t get the killer right away because they did not want to face an AR-15, yet the traitor GOP keeps that weapon of war legal.

Obviously the problem is building design and mental health. Nothing else.

Most Americans are shocked by the concept of unfettered access to implements of mass fatalities … NOT so the DIE_HARD “Republicans”. Would real Republicans like Lincoln, TR, or Ike condone this madness?

Texas is a ‘born again’ state. That won’t work in this case, pray till your red in the face, your prayers will not be answered. This is another of those ‘mysterious ways’ situations, good for all problems.

Usa has had over 100 mass shootings in the time period from 1998 – 2020. France came in #2 with 8. Australia #3 with 1.

Apparently a fetus’s “Right to Life” ends at birth, at which point it is superseded by Gun Rights.

Hey Squiggles, let me give you a glimpse of your future that you Conservatives are working so hard for. Oh, you’re going to be “replaced” all right; just not by illegal immigrants.

You’re outlawing abortion so 20 years from now, there will be millions of fatherless, directionless youth flooding the streets in packs. They will all have guns as you refuse to initiate normal gun laws. They will all be hungry as you insist on cutting social services. And they’ll be coming for you and all you have.

And then, as you go under, you’ll blame Democrats.

Forgot the second line…“My check’s in the mail, right?”

What if groups of citizens armed with semi-automatic weapons followed, whenever they are out in public, the spouses and children of every GOP elected official…only, of course, because the citizens are showing their solidarity with the GOP in support of the 2nd Amendment.

Wasn’t wishing for it…but it would have been a helluva news report of a AK 15 mass killing with hundreds dead at the NRA convention…Would that be the Ultimate Irony? Would the 18 year old (plus one day) shooter have been “mentally ill”, Gov Abbott, you criminally negligent, political whore? You should be charged with aiding and abetting by removing all restrictions to gun buying, defunding mental health programs by $211 mill, and then calling the planned, premeditated murder of 19 + 2 a “mental illness”. Aw shucks, I’ve already used “criminally negligent, political whore” but wotthehell, it still applies.

When the assault weapons ban was in effect from 1994 to 2004, the total number of people who had their 2nd amendment rights violated because of that law was ZERO. If it had stayed in effect until today, the total number would be, that’s right, ZERO. Universal background checks (favored by 88% of Americans in a recent poll) would also violate the rights of zero people.

Ted of the Dead - he makes having a Harvard Law Degree seem like it was made on the back of a Subway Sandwich wrapper. His quote about “every time there is a mass murder in this country the Democrat’s and the media demonize the NRA”. Damn F-N right —I remember when the NRA was for teaching how to use and store guns safely but as the assault rifles became the “weapon of choice”, they seemed to say “Money is more important than the original intend of the 2nd Amendment”.

This is the best cartoon I’ve seen about the intellectual disconnect between the pro-gun/anti-abortion crowd.
