It only seems to be creeping because Frog Applause operates within a different harmonic realm, sometimes called a parallel dimensional plane, where time, as measured by the quantum stability and the processes of particle interaction have a different rate of speed. Within our mundane realm, it moves almost too quickly to be observed.
An irritating analogy, to say the least. But I presume the intent was good and to the benefit of Frog Applause. Still, this reeks of Virginia Woolfism, a faded Rose from Day gone by….
