Say “cashew!” and you’re quarantined.

I have noticed (and spouse, who was a transcriptionist agrees) that doctors seem to use a LOT of food-related metaphors to describe things inside the body. I guess they (ahem) operate hungry.

This isn’t walnut farming, it’s brain surgery.

Everybody else wants head cheese.

Walnuts are good for brains.

Did Mr Coverly draw a brain to look like a walnut, or a walnut to look like a brain… Whichever, it looks authentic…

Time to get out the big nutcracker.

“How about Pecans?”

He just wants to make sure he can maintain his 20-20-20-20 vision.

Better than craving liver and onions. Or steak and kidney pie.

Gross!!

“Brain Salad Surgery” comes to mind…

We’re all a little nuts!

Oy! This is a tough nut to crack.

This scalpel isn’t sharp, he said bluntly.

Or cauliflower…

That’s what I like, an easily distracted surgeon. (not)

That’s a bad angle for brain surgery. He’s doing it all wrong!

Just be glad it’s not prairie oysters he’s craving.
