One of our cats is plagued by the zoomies. That’s why we named him Rocket J Squirrely Cat.

We have 4 cats and they are not all on the same crazy schedule

Midnight zoomies!

our cat does the same thing and we get up to all kinds of things in the floor.

It’s Saturday, but my cats don’t keep track. 5;30AM breakfast.

BTW, I love Ludie strips, much better than old folks dancing spastically.

16 hours? Luddie has insomnia.

We had two cats that went on their late night obligatory tear. Down the stairs, into the living room, dining room, kitchen, back upstairs, across the bed, into the bathroom, through the tub, Repeat as necessary

Until I put 6" of water in the tub

Midnight Zoomies would make a great name for a band.

My cat kept me in bed until nine this morning. To be fair it is snowing outside. Who says they are dumb animals.

My cat (RIP) would ‘dig out’ from the LR carpet, accelerate on the hallway linoleum, jump on the back-door carpet, skate it until it bunked into my bedroom door and then meow “again!” … Not good for a guy working rotating shifts !!

Do cat owners not need sleep like regular people? I could not survive with my sleep interrupted every night.

I had an older female cat who would run through the house screaming at night. She was an excellent cat otherwise, very well behaved. I couldn’t even get a dogsitter when I traveled due to this cat screaming all night. I finally took her to the vet on the advice of a friend. Thyroid problem. Once treated, the screaming stopped. We both got some sleep at night. She lived to be a very happy 19 years old. This is a fairly common problem in older female cats, I found out.

I shut the bedroom door at night & let the (3 cats) run rampant until 6:45Am… Lol

Forget the Zoomies! Luddie is imitating me trying to prepare for this snowpocalypse. And how do you prepare for electricity going out? Mostly ice for us only about 4 inches of snow.

Thank goodness my cats are lazy at night!

Cats tend to be nocturnal and save up the energy for the night.

Sleep all day, keep you awake all night…
