Obligatory Ludie strip for the week. May all the dancing is keeping him up tonight.

Maybe there’s a cat outside asking Ludwig to come dance by the light of the moon?

“‘Crepuscular’. That’s a long word. Shall we go look it up in the dictionary, children? Then we can explain it to Uncle Arlo.”

One of our cats is plagued by the zoomies. That’s why we named him Rocket J Squirrely Cat.

We have 4 cats and they are not all on the same crazy schedule

Crazy can happen at any time here, and I’m not just talking about the cats

Going to run all night, Going to sleep all day. The bob-tailed cat jumps up on the bed; Up on the bed comes the gray

I bought my cats a chirping bird cat toy. They ignore it all day. But as soon as I go to bed…

It’s Saturday, but my cats don’t keep track. 5;30AM breakfast.

BTW, I love Ludie strips, much better than old folks dancing spastically.

We had two cats that went on their late night obligatory tear. Down the stairs, into the living room, dining room, kitchen, back upstairs, across the bed, into the bathroom, through the tub, Repeat as necessary

Until I put 6" of water in the tub

My cat kept me in bed until nine this morning. To be fair it is snowing outside. Who says they are dumb animals.

My cat (RIP) would ‘dig out’ from the LR carpet, accelerate on the hallway linoleum, jump on the back-door carpet, skate it until it bunked into my bedroom door and then meow “again!” … Not good for a guy working rotating shifts !!

Do cat owners not need sleep like regular people? I could not survive with my sleep interrupted every night.

I had an older female cat who would run through the house screaming at night. She was an excellent cat otherwise, very well behaved. I couldn’t even get a dogsitter when I traveled due to this cat screaming all night. I finally took her to the vet on the advice of a friend. Thyroid problem. Once treated, the screaming stopped. We both got some sleep at night. She lived to be a very happy 19 years old. This is a fairly common problem in older female cats, I found out.

For those who want to see the recap of their first meeting, it runs from Oc 20 – Oc 25, 1997. Some, writing elsewhere, wanted the dates.

Forget the Zoomies! Luddie is imitating me trying to prepare for this snowpocalypse. And how do you prepare for electricity going out? Mostly ice for us only about 4 inches of snow.

Cats tend to be nocturnal and save up the energy for the night.
