Judging by the books people read (there are still a few people who read books) and the movies they watch, people seem to love suspense and fear, so why are they complaining about it in the news?
“A person who does not read a newspaper is uninformed. A person who reads the newspaper is misinformed.” – Mark Twain.
I have no problem with the propaganda put out by cable news or the conspiracy theories that are broadcast on social media. The issue I have is with people so indoctrinated and radicalized that they BELIEVE it.
There must be some sort of genetic defect that is afflicting successive generations of human beings that causes them to believe whatever god-idols they set up for themselves to worship instead of using critical thinking.
I used to wonder why there was spam on the internet, now I know. About 1/3 of the people are gullible enough to believe in penis enlargement, non-prescription Viagra or that the Nigerian Prince really does want to deposit millions of dollars into their bank accounts.
These are probably the same people who believe that UFOs have crashed on Earth more often than bumper cars and that vaccines magnetize your blood, or Bill Gates is injecting microchips to track you or that the vaccine is made from dead fetuses or that the Jewish Space Laser started all the wildfires out west or that an Italian spy satellite changed the results of the voting machines or that JFK or his son will rise from the dead or that Trump was going to be made president on Nov 3, Jan 6, Jan 20, Mar 4, Aug 13 … or believe that Elvis is still alive and that Hitler is alive and well and living in Argentina despite his jaw being left behind in Germany.
I’m sure I missed some of the things people believe, but I am afraid to take off my tinfoil hat.
The 24/7 news channels are run by for profit corporations and they will do and say anything that will keep viewers and keeping the shareholders happy campers. Most of them are acting as cheerleaders for their agendas which means actual journalism, seeking the truth, and discovering the facts have been thrown out with the wash water decades ago.
We have a Border Czar who can’t even pronounce her own first name doesn’t now the significance of Veterans Day other than being a three day weekend and cackles when she does not have a clue what is going on. Kamela cackles a lot.

I’ve always wondered… those slabs must be made of Pumice stone, or else they would not float across the water like that, I’m guessing.
