Those are some big shoes to fill…

“Running” doesn’t seem to be very likely.

At first I thought the shoes were a shadow.

He’s a shoe in for the job, as long as he gets his foot in the door.

I’m surprised he wasn’t recruited out of elementary school.

Don’t say too much, You don’t want to put your foot in your mouth…

Don’t run! Walk slowly and carefully, like you’re wearing swim fins. (It’s a shame Cypress Gardens is gone.)

“Well son, it will be hard to fill your shoes when you’re gone.”

He’s a fitting candidate for boyfriend of Agnes.

Well…if the shoe fits, wear it!

It’s his last recourse….no one would hire him, because he always had his foot in the door.
