Our Missy loved to escape and run down the street when we first adopted her from the Humane Society. Now that she knows this is her furever home, she doesn’t step paw out of our yard.
My grandson’s dog would take off every chance she had. Her tag had our phone number on it and we would get a call from one of the neighbors to come and get her. Dogs just seem to know when there’s a gate or door left open.

You would likely find yourself in the dog pound if you did.

Fear of the unknown?
Like people, some pets have it, and some don’t.

It’s so flat in southern Saskatchewan that you can still see your dog three days after it runs away.
