Worked in a hospital a long time ago. Older lady came in for hemorroidectomy and we were surprised that a local cardiac surgeon was on the case. Turns out he knew her from his early days as a general surgeon in a small town and she insisted he was the only one she trusted.

It involves a rock. We’ll sterilize it first.

Seems like something they should have taken care of before either of them entered the room.

Funny.

Time to remember that a white coat does not make a mortal a God. Doctors know a great deal and their observations should be taken seriously, but they are, inside that coat, just people, hopefully doing their best under the circumstances.

So the doc that LOST rock-paper-scissors has to treat Monty?
