I love it when the weather cools down. Here in S. Florida, that time can’t come soon enough!!

I was having my morning meal and I had a flash! (and I love breakfast epiphanies)…

If you put Edgar Allen and Eliot together, you get PoeTS.

Can’t wait for it to cool off!!! We had THREE days of below 80°, with low dew points & then soared back up to the upper 80°s & dew points in the upper 60°s. I’m with Katie; summer should be gone-gone-gone!

    Summer is awful

    Now, Fall’s coolness is welcome

    Heat can GO AWAY!!!

Actually, I’ve always loved the fall. Except for going back to school, I really hated that part. Fortunately that was decades ago!

Best weather of the year for me. Second favorite season, Winter, Fall, Spring, Summer. Why?, I’m a hiker/climber/skier etc. Winter has no heat, no humidity, no pollen, no rocks or roots to trip over and less tourists. What’s not to love?

Try to remember the kind of September - When life was slow and oh, so mellow - Try to remember the kind of September - When grass was green and grain was yellow - (sigh)

In my opinion replying to people you are angry with, telling them not to make certain types of comments only serves to push their dopamine button and often awards them the featured comment spot.

This wouldn’t have anything to do with school starting would it? And I thought she was the studious one.

If you think September is rough, wait until November. “No sun, no moon,No morn, no noon …..”

Hah. Try moving out here to California, Katy. We’re now annually PRAYING for the end of summer so we can see some rain that’ll HOPEFULLY put an end to yet another cataclysmic drought and give Cal Fire a breather from trying to stop the entire state turning into a flaming hellscape.

(But remember folks, climate change isn’t real!)
