We have to add Graham Crackers to the dog food.

I love the strips where Farley is the star.

My dogs sometimes enjoy “Cheeseburger” night (a sprinkle of shredded cheese on their dry food) or “Beanie-weenie” night (a turkey-pork hot dog diced up and mixed in their dry food). They suck it down like a new vacuum cleaner.

If you have a ‘good dog’ then treat them now and then to something different and tasty. They deserve it and then some. Just don’t overdo it.

We had to put a plastic Daisy in a little tiny vase next to his bowl. Otherwise, O’boy!

We have a routine with ours. We feed stray cats here, so the dry food goes outside first. Jason gets snuggle time with Sultan (our cat) while I do this, otherwise Sultan would be out the door! Then I let Jelly dog out, Jason comes out to feed her, while I feed Sultan and Sheba (Mum’s cat). I have to feed Sultan last because if I’m not in the room with him, he will follow me and glare at me til I come in. Such creatures of routine.. LOL!

That’s what we do for our pets. Cater to their wants because that’s how much we love them! ;)

Isn’t it cruel cannibalism to feed dogs chunks made out of fidos? At least make them kitty chunks.

Funny, I feel exactly the same way about salad. I will only stare at a bowl of lettuce until I get the nuts, berries, and salad dressing. Preferably Pecans.

Bacon for a dog – why not just feed him chocolate?

Who remembers Gravy Train, kibble dog food? Add a little water, and instant gravy for your pooch.

Please don’t give ideas to my dogs. Although I have to hide pills in something tasty – a cheese slice or lunchmeat.

Ah, there’s Farley! For some reason, I was recently thinking he hadn’t shown up since they went back to the beginning. I don’t recall seeing him.

Picky, picky……

Most people say sex makes the world go round but I think it’s food.

Dog food pouring out of a bag; special stuff delivered by one of the people he loves. Not much of a contest.

Bacon bits? Really?

Dressing up pet food tells more about the owner, than any finicky eating habits of pets, (and what it says is admirable).

Do you have a nice merlot to go wht that?

My dog licks the ‘condiments’ off the food.

My guy here gets quality dry kibble mixed with fresh veggies (peas and green beans) with a sprinkle of beef crumbles. He hasn’t turned it down yet.

For our dogs, two of the three will eat what is there, the 3rd one gets picky so different dog food then he eats.

I go through the same things here.

We feed our cats using little plastic mice. We fill them up and then hide them throughout the house. The cats love hunting for them and making a “kill” rather than eating out of a bowl.

Mine will eat the morning meal without condiments, but have to have cheese on their dinner. I split the total daily ration in 1/2 for each meal.

Humans are picky and finicky eaters, so why shouldn’t our pets? :)

But if one of the children said she forgot them, she’d send them to their room with nothing but at ear-load of her hateful screaming.

Enjoy it while you can, Farley. This the only comic strip where you get this kind of treatment at meal time. (I suspect this is actually a dream sequence.)
