So the “bet” is whether Diet Smith is about to announce a Time Drone, I suppose. Until then, the Ace will be imprisoned, if I understand it right.

I’ve never seen “Bravi!” before. I suppose it’s Italian. I guess that’s kind of a stereotype of “the Mob.”

The webs say it’s the masculine plural of “bravo”.

Cough! Cough! That SMOKE! If it is a simbol of the Apparatus wickedness, why Diet Smith, presumably a good guy, smokes almost as much?

Good morning™, new to the fold, lady bad guys !

She says bravi I say Navi. “Put him a free cell” !  Somebody was in a hurry to get this one done. LOL !

Will they go in cat burglar style, will inside guy disable some cameras and turn some locks ?  Are there any actual guards to be dealt with ?  Maybe some very hefty bribes will cause temporary blindness ?

Smith is going to announce to the world that he’s invented a time machine? He’s going to be flooded, absolutely flooded with requests and demands from people who want mysteries solved. “What happened to my son who disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle?” for example. “Find Bigfoot!” And on and on. Better he kept it quiet and only did requests from the government. I don’t think he’s really thought it through.

In real life, I imagine something like this would be confiscated by the gov’t as a “threat to national security”

’’Put that card a free cell"…What does that mean ?

That comment made no sense…

Also, didn’t the Ace of Spades hire Abner Kadaver to kill Charlie21 and then an assassin to kill Kadaver ?

And if he is still alive… Why would he have to break into the Apparatus HQ if he was in good standing with them ?

I’m confused…

I want to express my concerns for Avenger 09 and any other New Yorker here who have had experienced the phenomenal rain that hit NYC recently. Some places are said to have had 7 inches of rain in a day. One place was said to have gotten a half-an-inch in 6 minutes! They showed subways get flooded with rivers coming down the stairs. It reminded me of a Universal Studios attraction where a station was flooded in about 30 seconds without touching the studio tour tram.

Anyway, I hope our friends all made it through all right.

Cryptic phrasing. But “Ace” is confident it will happen even if he is in a “Free Cell.” He could only know this so certainly if he has seen it from the future, wouldn’t you think?

What else does he know for sure? Who is the second who will steal it?

I wondered why he called him a card, so I looked it up. Calling someone a card means that they are regarded by them as an eccentric person, a character or a joker.

Diet is going to ANNOUNCE he can go back in time.I’m getting a migraine.

As one other fellow said,he’s going to be overwhelmed with crackpot requests that’llmake The Apparatus look like a tea social. Some things just shouldn’t be bragged about.

And I’ll bet the woman with the cigar doesn’t get many dates.

I previously mentioned that most of DIet Smith’s smaller inventions are/were powered bylithium batteries.

Today’s paper tells of a 9-year-old boy who died in a fire started when the lithium battery on his scooter recharger malfunctioned.

The article says that 2 died and 60 were injured in the past year in NY CITY in firesstarted by lithium battery malfunctions.

sigh.. well I’m out. see ya in a couple months.

In panel one, Ace says, “…you’ll be first to steal it.” Shouldn’t it be, “…you’ll be the first…?”

Between the Ace of Spades and the Apparatus…is somebody going to have the foresight to “liberate” instructions on how to operate the drone? Just wishful thinking.

Put that card [in] a free cell. Not very hospitable towards the guy who’s about to make you a trillionaire (maybe). Also, implies there are multiple cells at Apparatus HQ, and that some are already occupied (else, why speak of a free cell?). Gorilla seems to speak for Apparatus leadership, though he seems more the Enforcer type rather than a Brain.

I do hope those are fine cigars and not cheap stogies!
