Seems to be more about having no faith that those in charge are telling the truth. As well as a lack of numeracy, including the strong feeling that if it hasn’t happened to ME (or those around me) then it didn’t happen at all.
Is that a corndog that’s been recalled or just a decade past the expiration date ? He looks healthier than a certain former Republican occupant at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Mike this is a perfect representation of uneducated people who would rather spread the virus then protect themselves and other people from a deadly virus, with the knowledge that over 2300 people are dying ever day from this virus.
For people like S2B, yes, the vaccines work very “good” when compared to your chances when going bare faced and un-vaccinated around a virus that is many times more communicable and targeting younger victims than the original strain.
There are plenty of articles in both print and electronic media that will give you an exact answer to that question, along with an explanation for the reason each ingredient is there and exactly what it does and what its known side effects are.
But, oh wait… you have to be able to read… uh, never mind…
Representing the same characters who are clogging the healthcare pipeline and throw tantrums when they are not taken care of immediately. Let’s not forget that they then want a pill or other care so that they can leave and continue the same behavior.
It’s the main reason I have done a 180 on universal healthcare.
Before there was a federal Food and Drug Administration or consumer-safety standards, nobody knew what was in anything, and anyone who wanted to turn a fast buck was free to claim anything they wanted about whatever crap they were peddling.
Ya know, the hate show talking heads have been comin’ out more and more lately, sayin’ “So and so got the virus and is in the hospital. Pray for ’em. And get the vaccination.” I’m kinda surprised the wackadoodles haven’t been denouncing (_)ucker Carlson and Hannity and their lot for sayin’ that, just like they wanted to burn Liz Cheney in effigy and lynch her. Ya mean either they’ ve gotten soft on the anti-vaccine BS, or are they beginning to think that maybe Hair Gropenfuror really was lying to ‘em after all? Because otherwise that would just prove their hypocrisy pretty darned well now, wouldn’t it?
I had COVID 19. You don`t want it. Fever for ten days. Lost weight. Coughed for two months. Headaches for four months. Lingering problems with taste and smell. Dry skin and thirst. I`m talking nine months of after effects. Quit being idiots. Get the shots. I feel better now. Thank you!
Years ago PBS had a documentary about all the bad habits that make far too many Americans sick. One person was filmed as their doctor asked him what his usual breakfast was (the guy wasn’t even appearing to be too much overweight but was bedridden), and the guy answered something like this -
A dozen eggs
A pound of bacon
Grits & gravy
“A few slices” of ham
Biscuits & gravy
Pancakes with lots of butter and syrup
A few glasses of milk (whole milk, he didn’t like even 2%)
A pot of coffee
And several cigarettes
(and there definitely was more but that’s all I could remember)
The doctor then asked that when, since this was his third or fourth heart attack (and I doubt he was forty five years old), he “was going to do something about his diet?”
The guy said, “When they finally prove scientifically that a bad diet caused my heart problem.”
None of this anti-vax’er idiotic crap surprises me one bit. You can hit some of the fools in the face with a frying pan repeatedly and they still refuse to see the reality of things. Because these uneducated morons know that one person out of ten thousand can do dumb stuff like that and survive, so the odds of course just have to be in their favor, and yet also that “those damned doctors don’t know what they’re talking about.”
Only a moron goes through life continuously repeating to themselves that “it can’t happen to me!” even after it does, repeatedly. Morons.
Where is the Newport smoken fat diabetic Black Man ? Oh right not his fault. Every American needs to get the vaccine after talking to their Doctor. Period !!

Yeah. After shooting up with Bleach, Toilet Cleaner and drinking infusions of “Comet Cleanser”, vaccines seem irrelevant.
