Lucky Arlo wasn’t defusing a bomb.

Customers usually give the klutz waitress a break!

All in a day’s work.

Perfection is rare. Only a few of us have mastered it.

(And I hide mine VERY well.)

Be sure to keep your imperfections entertaining.

Love the grin on Gene’s face and the hand gesture… “See, Dad? That’s what I’m talkin’ about!” Janis: What? Me, rattled? With apologies to Alfred E. Newman, of course.

Was it Gene and Mary Lou’s idea to add entertainment or is Janis just trying to help increase business?

Still want to know if Janis got that 50% tip on July 3.

A few weeks ago, I saw this happen at a restaurant. We all gave a resounding round of applause.

No one destroy ordinations like Janis.

A restaurant manager is Interviewing a potential employee, and he asks why she’d be a good waitress.

She responds: “Well, I guess you could say I bring a lot to the table.”

So far no one has mentioned that Arlo has finally put on gloves.

I think someones about to give her a hand. Or part of one at least.

It was for bending down to pick up stuff!

I had an entire tray of Cabernet dumped on me at a wine tasting dinner one evening. I was drenched.

Appears that “free help” isn’t exactly free.

“No charge for the Floor Show… Busboy! Floor!”

Depends on how big the klutzy was?

Saturday we saw a very tense Arlo with Janice waving goodbye as Gene left to prep. Today, we have a very relaxed Arlo. Wonder what Janice did? What happened to make Arlo happy? HHmmm

TA DA!

My daughter-in-law who worked as a Denny’s waitress told us of a time she was carrying a tray full of breakfasts. She felt it starting to shift and knew she couldn’t save it. After it all crashed to the ground the whole diner went totally quiet. She said afterwards she got a large tip.

One night we heard dishes breaking in the restaurant kitchen, it seemed to go on forever. Finally our waiter came over to tell us there would be no more service as the shelves holding the dishes had collapsed and there was broken glass everywhere!

Whenever I was clumsy in front of a crowd who clapped I took a bow. That’s how to own it.

Well, she’s not rattled.
