Where is the malice in trying to assure that families are protected from a lethal respiratory pandemic by being vaccinated with a highly effective vaccine? It’s sad to watch Americans divide against each other in such evil ways as a result of self-centered politicians whose principal tools are fear, blame, and anger. The context is ignored as their political affiliation is the deciding factor of whether we should direct love or hatred in their direction. It is beyond cruel to immoral behavior on all members of a political party for the misdeeds of a few as it is also wrong to ignore the misdeeds of a person because they are affiliated with your party.

Is it because we have the members of a binary political party system competing to become the one-and-only party ruling the US with an iron hand? Has capitalism imprinted selfishness on us that distorts the meanings of our Constitution and our religions? Are we so blind that we cannot stop the fear, hate, anger, distrust, and disrespect that is tearing our nation apart at the seams, … making our very name [United States of America] a mockery? Are the politically contrived fears, blame, and anger more important than our humanity?

Here Ms. Benson. These are facts (easy to check to determine if I made up these claims) that I would love to see you make a cartoon of. It doesn’t prove that all Trump voters are stupid, but it seems to strongly indicate a correlation between being stupid and voting for Trump.

At least President Biden has the brains, compassion, and leadership skills to get an effective vaccine program off the ground.

So? Parents that don’t get their kids vaccinated are guilty of child endangerment, and should be charged. Also, no shot, no free public school.

I’m glad the vaccine is being offered, not forced on people, where they live. The sooner everyone is vaccinated, the sooner Covid will go away. It’s not a political issue—it’s a public health issue.

I don’t know, Lisa, but this might be the next method of getting out the vaccine. Now, if the vaccine could be delivered in something sugary, like the Polio sugar pill, then we could get to all children and most adults not already vaxxed. Great thinking, Lisa.

I love Ice Cream, and the fact I got vaccinated when I did. If the spread of the Delta Variant in the ruby red states at the bottom of the vaccine list causes the vaccine hesitants off that proverbial fence and in the vaccine line I say "amen and hallelujah! We can then stand back and let the hard core anti vaxxers eat their own. This too shall pass.

Seeing how recent COVID related deaths and hospitalizations have one common factor: victims are unvaccinated. Lets keep it real; the dad is in a panic cause his son is still too young to get any of the vaccines while he on the otherhand….hahaha!

Good grief Lisa! You need to look further than your own horizons. I wish we had community outreach initiatives in Australia. I wish we had a government in power that could organise anything, let alone a vaccine rollout. Our Prime Minister, being another in a long line of Anglophiles, placed most of the eggs in the Astra Zeneca basket, because we could produce it here due to licensing agreements. Now we are in a race to secure Pfizer and Moderna, due to the small chance of blood clotting scaring folks away from said vaccine. We have an outbreak of the Delta variant in New South Wales, with a State leader of the same political persuasion as the PM who refused to issue stay at home orders until she absolutely had to, because of course, bizness must go on at all costs. Now she has 380 cases in that State and a health minister who said the other day, ""If the individuals that we need don’t hear Dr Chant’s message and don’t respond, then at some point we’re going to move to a stage where we’re going to have to accept that the virus has a life which will continue in the community." We are slow to set up vaccination hubs, workers in old age homes haven’t been vaccinated fully as a priority, nor have police, teachers etc.. Look around and see what is happening in other countries! Yes Lisa, there are OTHER countries. I for one would be grateful for this sort of initiative!

Zuhlamon thinks this source to be not credible so refers to the CDC. Okay, here’s a CDC reference showing a total of 5,946 according to VAERS as of 7 July. No the numbers are not the same but they’re in the ballpark and two weeks apart. If you read the sources you’ll see that these numbers/cases are being continuously update both up and down, but the base source for both organizations is VAERS, just snapshots taken at different times.
