P1.5 what kind of launch angle does your “small stipend” have coach?

Anyone else think Carter is Gil’s evil twin? And before accepting Gil’s offer, Heather better check with whatever passes for the Star’s ethics department.

@Ravenswing is right. We’ve been at MCC since July 12 and this intriguing plot line has moved along with the speed of a sleeping amoeba. How long do we have to wait for a certain ace reporter/assistant football coach to blow the lid off the gambling scandal that is tainting the hallowed grounds of Bushwood . . . .er, I mean Milford Country Club.

A college grad, who coached in the Big Ten, taking a job at a high school for a stipend?? You are a sick man, Gil.I “think” we hammered them in Vegas’s?? You would know that as it is a lot of $$$.

P1- Now that Heather has become all bobble-heady, I bet The Gilfather doesn’t make that proposal to all his former tight ends. Somewhere, Wynn Wiley and Pete DeWindt are content knowing they will never have to pass through Milford again.

Niles. Il has been having large protests over a 20% cut in the library budget. On all the newscasts. Someone on the board must read Gil and want to be like Abe.

P1 – Well, I mostly called it, Heather joining the coaching staff (not that difficult, I wasn’t the only one), although I thought there’d be a sudden opening. I didn’t consider that Gil can just go over his budget whenever he wants.

P2 – No, make him putt it! That hole is smaller than the ball, you’re giving away a win!

P3 – Ooh, professional golfers here. I don’t think they’re setting up Hendricks to be a hustler, but what? Gambling problem? Whatever it is, at least it will be over in a month.

And speaking of over, why don’t you shoot on over to Mopped Up Thorp for maybe a chuckle or two?

P3: That Habs- Golden Knights series is already over. These guys must be former Milford players. The next thing they will be doing is raising their arms in celebration of a game that ended four weeks ago.

Gil is actually offering Heather a stipend, however meager? I thought his coaching staff always consisted purely of volunteers. We know that Gill is always looking for anyone he can find to do his job for him, but has he now sunk so low as to actually offer them money for it?

    P2, I wish you’d both have a stroke, Buckethead.

P3, What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Now pull my finger!

Either that green isn’t being mowed properly or no one at Milford CC knows how to repair ball marks.

Maybe that Nugenix stuff that Frank Thomas endorses could help Gil with that small stipend problem.

Heather: “Oh thank you! I was really worried about how I was going to be able to pay off my $75,000 in student loans, but with the $25/week you’re offering, I’ll have that taken care of in no time!”

I feel like I’m reading 2 comic strips at the same time. Going back and forth with nearly every panel.
