A. Depending on whether you hate mimes or love them (and I don’t understand why they evoke such strikngly opposite reactions), they are either unspeakable or ineffable.
B. You don’t say?
Curtain.
[No one involved in the creation and presentation this play was ever heard from again.]
My fear, Kroykall, is that one EMP incident, frying all of our tech and Millennial’s, Gen Zs and following will know how to deal with doing math in their heads or with pencil and paper.
There was a lot of arguing over whether I could pass 5th grade because I could not recite times tables. I sometimes had to stop to figure one out. Finally, the teacher, Mom, the principal and I were in the class room and they said, “go to the board and multiply 6 × 7.”
I started. “6 6’s are 36, so we need another 6. 6 and 6 are 12 so that makes, um, 42.”
Mom and the teacher were sure that was incorrect, but the principal said, “What’s wrong with that? He knows more about multiplying than the rest of the class.”
I say again: Calvin and Hobbes, Arlo and Janis, Wallace the Brave. Are there any other comic strips which even come close to their perfection? And I think we have a three-way tie for the top spot in the United States, at least.

So I passed 5th grade, barely.

One of those comics where there’s nothing I can say that could possibly top it.

If Spud hates mimes, then why is he wearing a black and white striped shirt?

This is certainly one of the very silliest and funniest WTBs in a while. Good going, Spud!
