Well beer and chips may get flat and stale as they get older, but they’re otherwise safe to eat. The only concern you should have is that those vintage snacks could make a lot of money from some collector.

Beer, unlike wine and whiskey, does not age well. That’s why towns used to have their own brewery.

Oh no, not a time skip!

Two weeks have gone by, without an FM radio, Sedine has not discovered that the storm is over. Sam has been unable to leave the security location due to damage to the building.

Sedine has gorged herself on chips and beer for these two weeks. She has learned Conqueror’s Haoshoki Haki though.

At least the case of vintage beer could be worth something… I did once drop around $25 for a full case, complete with 24 full 12-oz. bottles, of Bosch beer from Houghton, (Upper) Michigan (last brewed in 1973). It was at an antique store in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, of all places, and this was around 2000. My intention was to merely carefully uncap the bottles, drain them into the sink, rinse them out and dry them, re-cap them, keep the best couple of bottles for my collection (along with the case itself), and sell the rest of the bottles on eBay. Little did my now-ex know (whom I was dating at the time) that the stuff wasn’t fit for consumption… she promptly decided to use about half the case for simmering grilled bratwurst without my knowledge. Oddly enough, they didn’t turn out too bad for being cooked in 25+ year-old beer… I was more hacked off by the fact that she’d bent the heck out of the caps opening them up!

I did later work up the nerve to refrigerate one of the bottles and sample the contents (amazingly enough, it was nearly free of any sediment, being a fairly light beer to begin with). Tasted more like metal than beer… >:P

    “What could possibly go wrong?”

Well, let me put it this way, Sedine: I hope there’s a toilet in that basement… it’s coming out in a very bad way, either out one end or the other!!

Ohhh… she put that “what could go wrong” vibe out in the air. It’s right up there with the “I’ll be right back” in horror movies! lol
