You can’t take Adam anywhere

C’mon, Adam—you obviously understand the Daughter Tea Party protocols enough to put on your tux, so how could you commit such an egregious social faux pas? Cookies are no excuse for such a breach of etiquette.

Young lady, I’ll have you know that I was brought up to muck my bedroom once a week whether it needed it or not!

In Adam’s defense, I don’t see a place set for him. And is his crest-fallen look in panel 4 for his rebuke from Ms. Fancy of the fact the cookie plate looks bare in panel 3?

Hopefully the barn door’s closed.

Why has no one invented coffee bags ?

The age old fight of which is better- Coffee or tea. Which do YOU prefer?

Yeh! I was raised in a barn and every time I hear a jackass bawl I get home sick.

I’d say Katy has made a faux pas in her planning of said tea party. One must consider the guests invited and consider there likes and dislikes. She should have provided both tea AND coffee bags and a generously topped plate of real cookies for her “guests.” Adam did come dressed for the affair after all.

OTOH, not much of tea party without cookies.

Should have had the “cup-ectomy” (and a snack) before coming to play.

I can not take any more of Adam being a jerk all of the time. Grow up. This strip is not funny it is decussating

One time I was kidding Dad about showing people a couple photos of his childhood farm. “This is the barn Dad was raised in, no, this is the house Dad was raised in.” He replied that actually did spend a lot of time in the barn when very young, leashed to the wall to keep him out from under the cows. And later working in it, of course.
