Just like the GOP in PA who censured Toomey for voting to convict Trump, “We didn’t send him there to do the right thing”. They sent him there to vote the way they want him to. They feel that he only represents the GOP, not the entire state.

This is what the Law of Unintended Consequences looks like. The @GOP openly sought to court the southern KKK voters the Dems were shedding like mange in order to evolve. The GOP chose to DEvolve into the mess it is now. If Roger Ailes in 1965 could see the end result of his evil plans, would he have done it? Probably, he was irredeemably evil, after all….

Should we be alarmed that body snatchers seem to have overwhelmed Ariail or should we leap for joy that a sliver of reality and common sense seems to have surfaced? We’ll take what we can get. In the meantime, everyone stay safe & healthy. Godspeed!

I read that I have something in common with Trump, he thinks his followers are disgusting too. Olivia Troye, who was on Trump’s coronavirus task force before turning on him, said Trump was happy when pandemic safety measures meant that he’d no longer have to shake hands with these disgusting people.

Funny how different folk get different meanings from the same text.. Much like the Good Book.. take the parts you like, twist the ones you don’t to suit. Cruz, during the Obama years seldom was seen without his copy of the constitution.. During the trump years he must have lost it. Then thinks.. there was a loophole that prevented impeachments of republican presidents.. you can bet a doughnut that had it been a democrat president.. his position might be different.

My Despicability Quotient Meter exploded when the Chairman of the Washington County PA Republican Party said of Sen Pat Toomey “We didn’t send him to (Washington) to do the right thing or whatever he said he was doing.” “We did not send him to vote his conscience.” The political cancer starts at home and if we don’t start fixing it there this country is in for one helluva train wreck.

Trump has unleashed a stunning attack on Mitch McConnell in which he branded him “a dour, sullen, unsmiling political hack”.

The ex-president’s blistering denouncement of the leading Republican in the Senate comes after Mr McConnell blasted Mr Trump for being “morally and practically responsible” for the Capitol riots.

The former Senate Majority leader slammed Mr Trump for his potential criminal conduct just moments after he was acquitted 57-43 in his historic second impeachment trial on Saturday.

Now Mr Trump has had his revenge in a cutting statement released on Tuesday – his most significant statement since leaving office on 20 January – urging lawmakers to dump the veteran Kentucky politician.

“Mitch is a dour, sullen, and unsmiling political hack, and if Republican Senators are going to stay with him, they will not win again. He will never do what needs to be done, or what is right for our country,” said Mr Trump.

“McConnell’s dedication to business as usual, status quo policies, together with his lack of political insight, wisdom, skill, and personality, has rapidly driven him from Majority Leader to Minority Leader, and it will only get worse,” he added.

When are we going to get a cartoon blasting the states censuring those who voted for impeachment? For voting – not groping or stealing or fraud, but doing their jobs as they see them and just voting. Having a backbone should never be censured.

Dirty Tricks Trump is trying to totally undermine minority leader McConnell.

That is what Moscow McConnell gets for not finding dictator Trump guilty, twice.

If Ted Cruz were to shave off that lousy looking beard, would that make him a bald faced liar ? At least he finally admitted his STATE screwed it’s people with poor judgement with the power grid decision years ago. So he’s pandering to people that aren’t frozen . . . yet.
