Dana having her own characters complement Phoebe’s strip is like that meme of Obama putting a medal on Obama lol.

You do NOT want to see the fanfics I wrote when I was thirteen.

I started writing fanfics. They involve me with mythological ladies.

I thought that Phoebe’s dad was a writer for an animated TV show called “Pastel Unicorns.”

Are they the kind of fanfics that will be turned in an “adult” movie? (and make you a billionaire)

What’s wrong with fan fiction? It’s becoming one more form of the Internet generation’s folklore.

And I oughta know. The American Folklore Society granted me a fellowship to study it at Bowling Green.

The fan fiction novelization of “The Crow” I wrote was complimented by the original graphic novelist, James O’Barr, where he told me “My true gratitude for your inspirational work.” I also wrote a huge fan fiction of “Edward Scissorhands” where Edward gets new hands and the girl (conveniently an orphan) and they live happily ever after together in a big log cabin in the Sierras, about which Ryan Corven (another Crow fan) commented: “An Edward Scissorhands fanfic … remains one of the very best I’ve ever read.”

I have a whole bunch of scraps of fanfics that I’ve never finished, simply because my creative “lightbulb” has a low lifespan. art on the other hand, while I’m not one of those super serious “art-a-day” people, I like to think that I am slowly but surely improving.

I didn’t start actually writing fanfics until I was in 7th grade. I lot of them I wrote back then were pretty cr@ppy, but nowadays, I still write fanfics, and for the most part, a lot of them are better than the ones I wrote back then.

(wonders about why the cartoon had “fanfic” instead of “fanfics” in its dialogue)
