Roger’s not much of the “business trip” type, is he?

If the runway was good enough for the Wright Brothers, it’s good enough for you.

I just have to ask – is Roger being nervous in the last panel or scratching his butt? Not being critical but the right elbow could be going up and down??

Back in the ’70s, Piedmont Air had a few converted war surplus B25s that they used for local hops in the south. And yeah, a lot of grass airstrips.

Another episode in this strip that will seem like a relic soon, if it isn’t already.

Reminds me of my flying experiences. Company I worked for chartered a plane to fly me into a remote airfield (Rainbow Lake AB) and having to buzz the tower several times to wake up the attendant so he could turn on the lights.. then another time (same airport) aborting a landing because a moose was on the runway.

I don’t think I remember this arc. This should prove interesting.

Don’t complain, Roger, he could be sending you to Elbonia.
