Tucker Carlson said that DOCTOR Jill Biden is no more a real “doctor” than Dr Pepper, and that the only doctors conservatives respect are MEDICAL doctors.

Tucker Carlson, of course, is a lying hypocrite. Conservatives do not respect DOCTOR Jill Biden because she is a woman.

And that LIE about respecting MEDICAL doctors?

The reality is that 310,000 Americans have died unnecessarily because conservatives did NOT respect or listen to MEDICAL doctors. Conservatives do not respect or listen to facts, science, evidence or anything that contradicts their pre-determined conspiracy theories designed to fool gullible suckers into REDISTRIBUTING their meager working class wealth to the few richest elites who already had the most.

Since Tucker Carlson was able to successfully defend against a defamation suit by claiming — his assertion — that no reasonable person takes him seriously, by his own admission, anyone who takes Tucker Carlson seriously is NOT A REASONABLE PERSON. Tucker Carlson is no more a “journalist” than Dr Pepper is a doctor.

But Carlson thinks it’s OK to call tRump, PRESIDENT?

There’s a couple on our block who correct us if we refer to them as doctors. They prefer to be called physicians. Go figure.

Just saw the Stephen Colbert interview of President-elect Biden and Dr. Jill Biden. It was wonderful [although the video froze at the end]. Both of the Biden’s are such real people and obviously love one another. They finish each other’s sentences and have high hopes for the country. They are so normal. I was in tears with joy and relief. Maybe, I can take deep breaths and sleep more sound again.

I had many professors in college that we called “Doctor”. There are a lots of ministers that are called “Doctor” ( Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.). And all of a sudden it’s an issue? I bet if Melania had a doctorate Tucker wouldn’t have a problem with the title!

You’re not a REAL president if you didn’t win the popular vote. How about that?

On most official forms, there are little check boxes on the line where you write your name. Dr. is always one of the boxes. Dr. Biden would check the Dr. box. It’s actually pretty simple. I’m not defending the practice. I’m not a big fan of titles. But it’s the custom. By the way, in the classical music world, very few performers have doctorates, even the very best, so there’s a custom of calling the great performers Maestro. I remember hearing Segovia addressed as Maestro.

Has FOX SPEWS ever said “Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. ?” in the past ? Do you know what they would have called him today if he had been elected President ?

The correct answer: Mr. President

There are a fair amount of preachers who use the “Dr” title (as a result of a PhD from a religious university). No one has seemed to find an issue with that. Anyway it has been an established practice for doctorates to use that title for decades. Because after all the formal title is “Doctor of Philosophy”.

I do remember seeing the Placard of Dr. Condoleezza Rice and Dr. Henry Kissinger.

But it’s ok if a Right wing Nut Job does it.

If yelling at them only worked, I’d gladly wear hearing protection as well as my mask when I’m near them.

Until more people see these little individual slights and irritations as part of a pattern that reflects disrespect, condescension, disdain, and cruelty, the Republican party will continue to thrive.

Anyone who obtains a legitimate Ph.D.—not an honorary one, or from some bogus “university”—worked very hard to earn the right to be called “doctor.”
