Canada had their Thanksgiving and it led to a surge in cases but that won’t happen here… ….it can’t happen here

You conserves only think in binary terms. You think you are not allowed to worship, have thanksgiving, or celebrate any holiday because you are advised against being in close gatherings. But you small minds can’t seem to handle the fact that you are allowed do these things, just not in close gatherings.

Payne doesn’t want to think about the fact that people eating food in close proximity is one of the best ways to spread covid-19.

Payne always picks the dumbest stuff with which to make a non-point. How about a Thanksgiving where you are grateful you are still alive and healthy? 239,000 Americans and their loved ones can’t say the same.

It is disgusting that Payne complained about potential gun control yesterday and is targeting Governor Whitney today. There are more details coming out about the heavily armed crazies that plotted to kidnap her, including their collection of weapons. People near their “training camp” reported fully automatic weapon fire.

Stupid Henry Payne and his obsession. I guess the FBI missed talking to him about his connection to the Wolverine Watchmen.

Anyone working for the FBI want to report him up the chain? he’s one of the instigators.

A few days ago Laura Ingraham attacked a Doctor on Biden’s new task force for saying we were in for a “ dark winter”. That kind of irresponsible denial of the truth is one reason things are so bad!

Payne is as responsible as the covid spreading republicans for 250,000 needless Americans deaths. Republicans have ruined Thanksgiving and Christmas this year by not dealing with a deadly but preventable disease. Republicans are solely responsible for American Deaths due to the way they needlessly polarized mask wearing. If there was any justice in this country republicans would be on trial for knowingly spreading deadly disease.

The right wing terrorists want to kidnap and murder the gov.

Did you ever see vicious liar Payne object to that?

Funnily enough, Thanksgiving was also about spreading deadly diseases. In that case, to wipe out Native Americans, which in some cases was intentional.

This is funny in its stupidity. Yeah, the Governors are against Thanksgiving. Actually, the Governors are against stupidity. Sadly, so many seem to choose stupid as a way of life.

The counter for Payne’s stupidity can be found from a map.

    Here’s a story in Wired:

    https://www.wired.com/story/thinking-about-a-holiday-gathering-look-at-this-map/

If you can’t read it, let me quote the first couple of paragraphs and provide the link to the map.

Not to nag, but if you’re considering seeing family for the holidays, I need you to take a look at this map. It’s a color-coded guide to Covid-19 risk level, sorted by geography (at the US county level) and crowd size. First, you choose the location where the gathering would happen. Then, at left, you can choose an event size with the slider, from 10 to 5,000 people, and watch the risk of at least one Covid-positive person being there skyrocket the bigger the gathering gets. In some locations where the virus is spreading out of control, like in parts of the Dakotas, that chance is darn near 100 percent, even if the gathering is just 10 people. Get any bigger than 10 people, and the map spits out odds calling it a virtual certainty in many places that you’ll be sharing space with a sick person.

Public health experts would really rather we not gather for the holidays, but they say that if you do go through with it, the shindig should be held outdoors, with as few people as possible, and everyone keeping their distance and wearing masks. But if you look at that map now, it shows that across the US, there’s no such thing as a perfectly safe way to gather during the pandemic. Even with all those precautions, the risk right now is huge, particularly if you’re in the Midwest or hosting anyone coming from the Midwest. For example, in Cook County (which includes Chicago), the chance of a Covid-positive person attending a gathering of just 10 people is around 50 percent. In Jones County, Iowa, that chance is a staggering 99 percent. North Dakota, South Dakota, and Kansas also have counties sitting at 99 percent.

Welp, the Puritans did not celebrate Christmas or Easter. And did not celebrate any form of Thanksgiving for the first year. 1621 was the first big Thanksgiving. The puritans had a lot of thanksgivings for things like a good planting, a good rainy season, a not bad winter (more people died than arrived or were born until 1623) and other things. And even then the winter of 1621-22 saw about 50% of them die. They were not farmers nor very good fishermen or hunters. Without the help or charity of the indigenous people they would have all been dead by 1624. Remember that in two weeks.

When I see an armed, unmasked MAGAt drag his coughing children into a store I now say “Good going, Henry Payne!” They smile, and give the “OK” hand salute. What I meant was “Good grief, you selfish pr*ck!” Payne and his best buds like Scott Atlas screwed Thanksgiving and Christmas for everyone by encouraging, stupid, dangerous behavior. Whitmer has the intelligence and courage to do what has to be done to help save as many as possible from COVID-19. The disease is real, the deaths are real. Payne profits from being unreal.
