He can do that with a virus because it doesn’t MATTER… he only has to beat out other people to feel like a winner.

We now know from new audio recordings released of Jared Kushner that Trump intentionally TOOK THE PANDEMIC AWAY FROM THE DOCTORS and, in Kushner’s own words, he now owns it. This was from back in April.

They made a deliberate, conscious decision to reject medical science and make purely political decisions.

We already knew from previous reporting that the Trump team, headed by Jared (when Putin wanted to buy a U.S. president, he went to Jared) Kushner, knew exactly what to do and formulated a plan early. They did not “miss” the ball, they booted it intentionally; they took a dive; they threw the games to an extent that would shame even the Chicago Black Sox of 1919. It was a flat-out surrender. Knowingly.

But when Jared learned that it was the blue states being hit the hardest in those early days, he decided to sacrifice the states that would never vote for Trump and then blame it on the Democratic governors.

Now that it is hitting the red states and has backfired, once again Jared turns out to be less brilliant than advertised.

Actually, he’s been telling people at his rallies that we’re winning over the virus.

America should have compared this COVID thing to something like an especially virulent STD. Testing would certainly be encouraged.. and protection likely to be used at least 98%

From the very start, the intent of Trump, with the full support of Republicans, was to at least enable (if not actively push) the virus burning through the entire population as fast as possible – carnage be damned. There was no surrender. There was a blitz.

The president never “gave up.” To give up, you must at least begin an undertaking to give up on. Since no undertaking was undertaken, no “give up” is necessary.

But undertakers are doing land-office business. As my old friend, Marvin the Martian, used to say, “Isn’t that lovely?” /S

Jared’s intelligence does not exceed that of the average cow.

What he’s really giving up on is his attempts to fleece the rubes over it.

Aside from attempts to “corner the market” and horde supplies of “cures” that turned out to be ineffectual, his efforts have consisted of belittling experts, discouraging mask use, contaminating PPE in bulk for photo ops, confiscating PPE and respirators, holding superspreader rallies, incessantly lying about the seriousness of the situation and bragging about “downplaying” the threat. Oh, and the standard blame-game bigotry about China.

It only makes sense if you assume he and his party and his support punditry want COVID-19 to kill as many Americans as possible.

Will the Trump supporters realize their mistake when they’re left in the freezing cold for hours ? Of course not. That’s proof that global warming is a hoax ! Bless their hearts.
