I don’t trust Bliss…

Old man McGhoulish is raking in the parking dough. I bet he has the t-shirt concession too.

a six-child preschool… that makes three sets of “maze buddies”

Hmm looks like Alice’s best friend “Sofa” aka Sophie did not make the trip…..

Free admission? But the parking fee will get you.

What? No parent helper? In a maze, with little kids?

This just may be a technically perfect comic strip.

The school bus in panel 1 provides the Set-Up. The entry McGhoulish display in panel 2 sets the Mood as Miss Bliss drives past it toward the $20 parking (!). And panel 3 is a sheer delight Payoff/Punchline as adult-sized adult Miss Bliss leads her column of tiny pre-schoolers into the fray, with the Buckethead making a wry humorous comment and Beni assenting. By the numbers, Maze Buddy pairs appear to be Alice and Nara, Marcus and Beni, and Dill with Kevin the Buckethead….

The scariest part is the $20 parking fee. And it’s REAL!

Ah….I remember the days of childhood field trips and the “Buddy System.” My buddy never really kept an eye on me but not entirely their faults…

I hate my “buddy” he would get the school banned on field trips like when he pet a “dog” when it was a otter he was the school least fav student.

I hope that $20 parking fee is pretend!
