Unlike with infant humans, you’re supposed to change batteries before they leak.

Middle aged flashlight?

Never saw this “twist” before. Good one.

Helpful hint: if your flashlight batteries are failing, take them out and rub the ends vigorously against rough clothing, then replace in the flashlight. You can get a few more minutes of ON/OFF use. I’ve used this trick on my camera batteries, but using a pencil eraser, and gotten another 20 photos.
