McConnell, Graham, and other Republican Senators have said there will be a peaceful transition of power. Of course, we know what their words are worth.

Actually, “Moscow” Mitch said he would see that that the duly-elected person would peacefully transition to the presidency – he made no mention of the PROPERLY elected person. Understand that the republicans have no intention of allowing power, once obtained, to slip senselessly through their fingers – American democracy be damned! It’s their country and they’re NOT giving it up – all it needs is the disenfranchisement of a few million brown, black and female people and the country will be right as rain, again!

The Trumpster and some others seem to have forgotten that in a presidential election, the candidates don’t get the last word on who won. In a way it’s a pity that Gore conceded; he didn’t have to, and in its small way it would have been a perpetual reminder that something was wrong.

A new chant was coined on the steps of the Supreme Court yesterday: “VOTE HIM OUT! VOTE HIM OUT!” … He claims not to have heard the jeering. Didn’t he have his hearing checked along with his mental acuity?
