Sophie is summoning her inner wolf.

Wolves have it rough. Maybe it’s time to pack it in, Sophie.

Go ahead and howl. Mom’s not really mad until she throws something.

This is why I no longer own dogs. Cats are so much quieter. Even with the 3 AM hallway Grand Prix. The biggest problem is that they think I’m on their pit crew.

Love the drawings in this strip! I wonder what Annie’s vision of herself would be here; probably looking pretty much like she looks in the last panel. :)

I have two pups who wildly bark at every jogger who passes, but my lab, who is allowed out (invisible fence), races to the border, tail wagging, begging for pets. No wolf’s soul. But some of them do carry treats.

Wonderful artwork. I especially like the difference in expression on the wolf’s face between panels 3 and 4 – subtle.

I dont know what her mental image is, but our oldest kitty has a growl like a little mountain lion when our big boy cats back her into a corner

Nice to dream when you have reality, with it’s regular meals and cozy house, to fall back on.

Looks like Sophie has claimed the Lamar Valley of Yellowstone National Park for her pack’s territory.

Wait till you come across a dogman, looks like a giant bi-pedal wolf.

Ours considered any place within sight of our house as their territory, so even dogs across the street would be sternly warned off. Unless another dog was in our backyard for some reason. Those would at worst be ignored.
