Hey Peeps…it’s about Dog Eat Doug…get another thead…or I’m just too CANADIAN.
Now that I’ve retired…days blend into one another. Except for certain things…like beef jerky, a BBQ or helping an elder smile.
Lucky you for the beach house. Stay chill.
& to further add to “I Am Cartoon Lady”, you can see the reasoning behind Doug’s decision to give up the keys in panel 3. So great how a few pen strokes can depict that, Brian.
Hey tcar-1 – warm enuf 4 you down south? We’re at a balmy 27 Celcius…but humidity kicks in like a BAK tomorrow
A wise person recognizes their inabilities…Sophie’s not absolutely right…but in this case, Yes. BAK!
I so totally agree…Annie would be “Merryweather” from Disney’s “Cinderella”. Brian…bring Annie into some of the fold, please.
Hey tcar-1 – BAK is a universal word (from Canada to U.S. or Alpha Centuri). I like Doug’s interpretation, but Sophie’s is probably accurate. We’re just faeries up here in the “Great White North”.
Heeey! Cats are not dumb…they are clever claws.
I miss our “Half-Time”…gone 4 years now. He woulda said: “I meant to do that” & promptly turn his back on us, play the cello (the leg lifted over his head…cleaning). LOVE the art in the entire strip today, Brian. The “Ploomp” is particularly audible and real. Thank you.
