In this weather? – Back to bed would be nice, but I have to do a few things today. All the fresh veggies (in spite of keeping quite well on the balcony) won’t turn into kimchi and jangajji by themselves.
I’m going to the grocery store. You get to play dress up with a mask. Play dodge carts where you try to stay 6 feet away from other shoppers. There’s breath hold pass as you hurry by slow shoppers. They used to have toilet paper hunt. Then there’s meat shock – the prices keep going up and the selection keeps getting smaller and smaller.
This is amazingly timely. I packed this morning to visit my son at his lakehouse for a couple of days. This strip made me run upstairs to get my bathing suit and pack it!
Years ago we drove almost 1000 miles to my sister’s wedding. The middle child packed for himself for the first time. I could not believe my eyes when we arrived and he took his (very wrinkled) suit out of his suitcase. Then we realized that all of the rest of our dress clothes, neatly bagged and hanging, were left at home.

Hey Peg – guys don’t have “bathing suits”. They have swimming trunks.

When I go out on my ebike, it’s the getting there that’s the fun part.

The problem with no trunks is that once you’re in the water, you don’t want to get out.

Tony, Gary, what’s the story with sudden change in the art work? I’m not criticizing, just curious.

I have made a list of things to pack. I print it out and check off as I pack.
