I have been inside for far too long. I was outside a week ago! I went out today and was amazed at how brightly colored some of the trees had become! And a couple were almost bare! Next time I go out… I will probably need a parka!

You should have learned to leaf it alone, ‘course you’re barking up the wrong tree…

Sigh, my neighbors’ leaves blow into my yard. My oak doesn’t drops it leaves till after it snows and only drop into my yard.

Help, does anyone have a link to the UP TO DATE strips for TUNDRA? All I can find are old ones. My Sunday paper carries it.

I have a love/hate relationship with autumn. It’s actually my favorite season. I love the cooler weather, the colors, wearing sweaters, and the nostalgic feeling it gives me makes me more creative. However, I hate hoodies, I can’t stand pumpkin spice anything, I’m allergic to apples, and don’t like the shorter days.

I live for the first few weeks of October, but like everything else this year it is mostly disappointing. The aspens of the eastern Sierra are peaking right now, but we are seeing them through the smoke from the biggest fire on record, burning on the west side for over 5 weeks now. Terrible terrible year.

Notice Halloween is around the corner, … Not really it’s only October 17th…

Garf, make like a drummer and flake off.

When I lived in the Northeast, although I loved the beautiful fall foliage, it was tempered by an underlying depression , knowing that Winter would soon be arriving.

Look on the bright side, Garfield! At least there’s a mountain of leaves you could jump in if you weren’t as lazy!
