Mr. Davies noted apologies to Ludwig for this cartoon but he needn’t worry – Beethoven was a bit of a “monarchist” as well, and would have had some sympathy for Trump.

Beethoven even dedicated his Ninth Symphony (of which “Ode to Joy” is a part) to a king, Friedrich Wilhelm III of Prussia.

My question is, where is the Board of Governors – they are responsible for the USPS, and since we’re not hearing from ANY of them about what’s going on, one suspects they are the ones giving the new Postmaster his orders…
