I was about 6, and it smelled so good. So my mother poured me a cup….yuck. Turns out I can’t stand the stuff.

I started with Postum, moved onto instant coffee, then graduated to brewed coffee. I still need milk and sweetener in my coffee though.

I didn’t pulled into the coffee trap until I was in my 20’s… now I’m stuck and I can’t get out.

I had my first cup at 6… used to make the morning pot (in an electric percolator) when I was 7… loved coffee ever since. ;-)

Make her something similar to the Starbucks s’mores Frappuccino. I bet she’d like that! A donut chain around here has Iced Capps and I like Oreo or Salted Caramel.

My Dad would borrow my glass of milk and spoon a few spoonsful into his coffee. And then he’d give me a spoonful of coffee as “payment”. Love me my coffee, I do, I do! (Tho, now, it’s half “leaded” and half “lead free”, and definitely “lead free” after 3pm!!!)

I started being given “coffee” when i was around 4 or so. It was a quarter cup coffee with the rest being milk and sugar. I’ve been drinking it black since i was about 10. My parents had a 6-8 pots (each pot made 10-12 cups) a day habit when I was growing up. They also used a big pot when people were coming over. We actually owned one of those coffee pots you used to be able to rent at the grocery store that you could make 40-50 cups of coffee at once.

Coffee is an acquired taste. First you acquire it and then you taste it.

My Aunt Donna fed me breakfast when we went to her house. Turtle Pancakes(No. Not real turtles. …yuck) and a cup of cream and sugar with a bit of coffee in it. Yum!!

I was at a meeting when a few of my coworkers started discussing their favorite Charbucks frappawhappacrappa. They took offense when I asked if any of them drank coffee.

I never drank coffee until I was in my thirties because my parents drank inexpensive canned ground coffee. Then when in photography school I went to a coffee shop and had a freshly roasted cup. I love my coffee with no added flavors; just black

He’s gonna regret this. Coffee habit can be expensive. My ex-wife drank 5 or 6 a day, at $ 5.00 a pop. Pop was cheaper!

I started drinking coffee, with cream, in high school when I had a chem class first period. Now I can only drink decaf and like it with unsweetened vanilla almond milk. I think the smell alone wakes me up. But I do love a Mocha or Double Chocolaty Chip Frappuccino when I can afford the calories.

Same here, but around 26 years old, it suddenly appealed to me. I’ve been drinking and enjoying it ever since.
