Certainly the most pervasive sexism of all. The fact that this needs to be said proves how lame we all are.

However, in the greater scheme of things, it don’t hurt.

… I’ve heard it said, that being pretty is a superpower…

… I don’t exactly go all in on that premise…

…I guess it is how it is used…

…or not used…

… and I have seen it used…

…youngins wearing their uniforms as an advocate for their beauty…

…or sexually…

…but is twentysomethings flirting with old dudes by this means healthy?…

…I’ve seen others just being kind and friendly and helping getting the same results…

…and someone using both methods to get ahead…

…but female news anchors can’t look frumpy…

…and while a personality will get you far…

…bending down and showing some skin seems to get you a lot further a lot more quickly…

…but Fishnet Friday makes anonymous bodies expressive…

…but being invisible is an artform…

How people look doesn’t necessarily tell you much. I’ve always noticed how people move – that tells everything.

Being comfortable and confident in your own skin is way more attractive than some arbitrary “standard” of beauty, but we worship materialism so it is a hard tide to be turned.

It’s kinda like being rich and successful … it’s not the only thing in life, but it’s way ahead of whatever’s in 2nd place …

You don’t have to be petty.

I feel pretty. Oh, so pretty. I feel pretty, and witty, and gay, and I pity any guy who isn’t me today….

No, wait. Scratch that. Wrong intent.

Pretty may be subjective, yet “pretty” is pretty good. Certainly better than ugly, unless your sensibilities are perverse. —We do get a lot of that these days.

Oh, well. Who cares about my opinion when you can quote your favorite lexicographer?…
