I sat in a puddle of blood crying for my children in jail. The officer thought that was so gross. the same officer that put me on suicide watch unjustly in the first place. Who knows more about the position of an insulted Dragon? Perhaps the dragon himself. Does he look offended to you?? Graceful and Patient more like it. He has an AWESOME sense of humor too. I wouldn’t be surprised if he smiles in Hell!!!

Just get a recording of a mastiff barking. The cats will move.

I saw a variation on this back when the twins McDonnell and Douglas were kittens on my patio. One of them was curled up in the middle of a cushion that I’d previously seen them both sharing. His brother approached slowly and tried to wake him up to make room for himself. But whichever one was on the cushion to begin with pretended he was still asleep.

That’s the first time I realized cats could be passive-aggressive.

(BTW, the names I gave them was because they were both jet black.)

That cat lying on the door better hope that there’s not a sudden opening!

Recently a big, red “lovebug” cat tried to adopt my sister & her husband by hanging around on their porch. Sadly, both of them are allergic.

A favorite pastime of mine is to watch our cats look for the sunniest spot in the house. . .and move as the sun moves.

If you happen on an empty concrete porch on an extremely hot day, grab that oasis of (relative) coolness before a squirrel beats you to it.

Years ago, neighborhood cats would come and lounge on my porch because it was covered in outdoor-indoor carpet. I hadn’t noticed I was tracking in fleas until it was too late. Hard lesson learned.

Opposite season, but once read of a Norwegian village that was so hemmed in by mountains that they got no sunlight in the winter. So they rigged up a system of mirrors to reflect the sun into the town square. People didn’t get to enjoy it, though – all the town’s cats took over the space.

Three of our girls share the 10×12 patio slab, but our oldest, Piper insists on occupying the little 18-inch concrete square outside the back door to the garage.
