Words have meanings. And political / economic terms have meanings, and Lisa Benson clearly demonstrates her utter ignorance about Biden’s views or the meaning of the word socialism.
Many of us on the far left of the Democratic party supported other candidates, with Biden as one of our least preferred options, precisely because he is such a moderate. Of all the top candidates, Biden was the farthest from socialism.
The fact that we leftists got stuck with the least left-wing option is disappointing to us, but is obviously very frustrating to right-wing extremists like the uneducated Lisa, who are now stuck with trying to tar the least leftist Democrat with the brush of socialism.

The ‘regulations’ fat boy eschews were all born of that fact, and the current effort by the administration to shed even more of them is government complicity on steroids. Upton Sinclair could write a book today that would be hardly less damning than ‘The Jungle’.
Biden has taken his cue from Bernie Sanders (a self described socialist) and has adopted the policies that he was running on before his candidacy ran out of gas (typical of socialism), and has incorporated AOC’s Green New Deal (so ridiculous that not even democrats voted for it when it was brought up in the senate which Mitch did, just to embarrass the idiots that supported it). Biden is so weak, that he has to have the questions from the press pre-approved. Watch the video. He’ll say, “o.k., where’s my list” and go down the list of reporters names who have submitted softball questions.
