Happened to my son once. Pop fly hit him right in the face. He’s better now.

Trying to hit an overhead in response to a high lob into the sun, I swung and missed, tennis ball hit the top of my head and bounced up a couple of feet. I swung again and missed again. Opponent tried to charge me with two lost points. Only damage was to my pride.

Very sportsman (can I say that anymore) like of Hobbes. He could’ve just knocked the ball out of Calvin’s glove while the little dickens is unconscious…

Amazing how a stuffed tiger can hit a ball that can knock out his kid. I wonder if that is just Calvin’s way of taking a nap in left field?

WOW ! If Calvin was taller and closer to a “fence” that ball hitting his head would be just like the Jose Canseco incident of a few pro-baseball years ago !

Happened to my stepson. My husband was so upset he left all the gear in the park getting him to medical attention!

People keep saying Calvinball. This looks like regular baseball. No masks, they’re using the equipment in typical fashion.
