We are all staying home (at least most parts of the US) dum-dum.

Everydays a weekend for you cat

But… but… but Wednesday is Milk Day in my house! The cats line up in the kitchen and wait for it! They growl at me if I put milk in my tea and they don’t get any! MOF… I am doomed tomorrow! I am out of milk! I need to get up early and sneak out of the house before they notice I am gone! (Anyone want to think I will make it??)

Ever been THIS happy on a Wednesday?

So Garfield finally got rid of that pesky Monday ?.

Garfield’s re-writing the calendar, in HIS favour.

For the retired every day is a holiday.

I had myself thinking on yesterday’s Labor Day stat was whether Garfield (who doesn’t work anyway) has Monday issues when it’s part of an extended weekend.

Sounds like the same logic Dilbert put forth in the Season one episode twelve episode, “Holiday”.

Well, actually house cats do have a job. Think of it like security guards. Your job is to keep the rats away.

In that case does it ever end for you?

I no longer work at 32 because of a wretched brain injury, but I walk less dogs on the weekend, so it’s still more relaxing.;)

Being retired, and especially now when everything is cancelled (no weekend events anyway), every day is a weekend day

My weekend ends on Wednesday, tomorrow begins my workweek.

I think it would be a good time for Jon to repeat this line of his: “From now on, you’re earning your keep around here. Here’s a list of chores”.
