Best thing about seeing last year’s game, the fans are there.

I have no problem with watching reruns of sporting events. I don’t remember the out come so the anticipation is still there.

Tough however to get good Vegas odds or any odds when you want to place a bet.

Even if I don’t know the outcome, just knowing that the game or race already has an outcome that can be looked up ruins it for me. No longer “Who will win” but now “Who did win”

May soon wish for the days when the sports weren’t politicized.

I’m one of those few (many?) who wouldn’t even blink if all professional sports disappeared forever.

Glad I gave up spectator sports 60 years ago. I used to watch Olympic gymnastics occasionally. Well, not this year …

I tried it watching baseball – the new variety. The game is ruined. Football will probably be the same. Not gonna watch that either.

Rockies game yesterday. Piped in fan sounds. Too bizarre. What’s the point?

I watched the Canada Russia Hockey series in the 70’s on video tapes at a northern mine (before satellite). They sent us game 6 and 7 out of order. Hard to get excited about a cliffhanger game when you already saw the next one.

Spent most of the time watching the KBO. Not bad baseball if you don’t mind being up at 5 in the morning.

We know the outcome of every game. We’re definitely in the Biff alternative timeline from Back To the Future II.

On April 20, 1986, the Boston Celtics played the Chicago Bulls. Larry Bird scored 32 points, and in his second career playoff game, one of the Bulls scored 63 points. His name: Michael Jordan. THAT would be a game worth rewatching!

I am surprised that we haven’t missed them at all! Rarely have the TV on at all lately.

…and the gambling. My theory is there would be little interest in professional sports without gambling. A good game is a good game even if it is twenty years old.

I prefer the replays of football games. Last year Tom Brady was NOT with the Bucs. He will always be a cheater patriot to me.

Watching the “reruns” from years ago really shows how the game has deteriorated. This applies to both MLB and the NFL. I wish I could get some DVD’s of full seasons from the 70’s and 80’s (or even older.) I’d never watch another live game. In fact, with the garbage they’re pulling lately, I probably won’t anyway.
