A statue of Trump should be made of pot metal (because it’s cheap and has a low melting point) with a sharpie patina, though a hot air balloon would be a better representation.

    Heave — HO!!!

There will be some good that comes out of this tragedy. It has shown us the great weaknesses in our society, not the least of which is game-show host “leadership”.

He was already on course to be a one-term “president” but I do believe this will be the final straw. Bale.

I’ll bet he lies about the size of other things . . . .like when he goes fish’n.

ad Magazine had a strip: what we think we say versus what people actually hear. Ol’ Dogwhistle Trump would have been a natural parody for this.

Yes, a fine statue, of good stone with porcelain coating. Make him looking up and pondering the vastness of the world, arms outstretched. Then take that statue, and put it and many more like it, at the bottom of every porta potty in the country. Everybody has a chance to crap on the coon. We took his bullsh*t for 3-1/2 years…it’s time we return the favor.

It’s not Covid19 that is dragging Trump down – it’s Trump’s own mis- and in-actions. Covid19 is just a disease – a virus – it only wants to replicate and replicate (and sometimes make the host sick).

In every case, when Trump acts particularly poorly as a “leader”, he then proclaims that the problem that he failed to lead us from was really a dastardly plot by the Democrats to “take him down”.

If he had shown even somewhat competent leadership around Covid19 (such as has been demonstrated by Cuomo in NY, or several other governors around the nation), then Covid19 would not be a hazard to his reelection.

The same goes for his “leadership” concerning BLM protests – but instead of competent leadership, he has jackbooted thugs violently dispersing peaceful protesters in front of the White House so he can have a photo-op where he gropes a bible in front of a church. Upside down.

Heaven forbid we ever see a statue of trump. The sooner America forgets this disaster the better.

A blimp dressed in butternut, too fat to mount a horse and being debased by that frisky little imp – great cartoon.

Hey, there’s a great idea! Let’s grant the “Right to Vote” to the Covid-19 virus. There are countless trillions of them! Would beat Trump handily!

LOL, Trumpers would erect a Trump statue that has him in battle officer dress – despite his draft dodging and zero actual combat experience…

It’s not just Trump, although he certainly deserves all the criticism that he could get. Here’s the deal. It is pretty well known how to control the spread of the virus. A lot of countries have done well. Some did well right from the start and have had very few cases and very very few deaths. Others had a bad start but then figured out what to do and did it. The US had a really bad start and then a really bad after the start, and an even worse right now. You can’t blame the whole US population. Some are doing the right thing, and it’s just such a shame that they should have to suffer because of the stupidity and selfishness of the rest. My wife said, I thought that self-preservation was a strong instinct—what is wrong with these people? Something has gone very wrong with US society. It’s evident in many ways—gun violence, racism, toxic religiosity, widespread rejection of education. Right now it’s a crisis. What do we do when the selfish idiots are in control?
