People sometimes look back on history and think that our ancestors were dumber than us because they didn’t have our technology or knowledge of medical science or all the highly-advanced things we have today.

Yet our founders came up with a very unique and unprecedented idea that people could govern themselves. Theretofore, people worshiped emperors or believed in the Divine Right of Kings. This group of upstarts were willing to attempt an experiment that had never been tried before. Absolutely brilliant.

We can applaud them for what they have given to us, but we need to preserve what they have given to us. We need not only to fight for the land of our forebearers but also to preserve it for our children.

If Trump had shown up at the signing of the Declaration of Independence, they would have thrown him out in the street as a madman. That’s something our Republican Senate refused to do.
