Payne once again reaches a new height in the level of stupidity with this strip. But, of course he’s just using the same stupid talking points of the conserves. “Defund the police” does not mean remove the police. Conserves like Payne, the Rump, and the GOP will use that statement to divide the people and block any actual progress that can be made. They are just that evil.
When I scroll down, and see “Henry Payne, Pulitzer Finalist” I always wonder, “How? Was it like a particaption award that year?”
Were all the other cartoonists sick that year? Did Henry poison them, at a convention? Was bribery involved? Or kidnapping of judges loved ones? Perhaps a comic mishap, where envelopes were switched? Perhaps it was long ago, when standards were lower?
It could not have been based on merit, skill, creativity or imagiation, the evidence just is not there.
I have seen strong conservative work, of high caliber and worthy of note. Payne is not at that level.
“Defund the police” … It is getting to be past time to replace this vague, ambiguous rallying cry with a clear concept. As it stands, this is a) something that feels good to say, or, b) something that threatens civilization, or, c), …. and so on. (Your choices here). Put some logical concepts together which aim at specific goals and which can be measured. Please.
You do realize that LEGO isn’t an American company right? You do realize the world doesn’t revolve around America right. (even less so now, than it ever has in the past)

Not a bit of truth to the cartoon. Somebody should bring it to the attention of LEGO. I’m pretty sure there’s grounds for a lawsuit.
