From @vexedinthecity on Twitter: “Dear White People; Gonna need y’all to sit this one out. Black folks who have been black for long enough can identify the difference between an awkward ally and a virulent racist. We good.”
So Bok thinks black folks approve of the ☠resident’s behavior?
" … “The disproportionate impact of Covid-19 crisis is only having the effect of increasing people’s disdain and distrust of Trump and the entire administration,” Adrianne Shropshire, the executive director of BlackPAC, a super PAC focused on black Democrats, told The New York Times.
After Mr. Arbery was stopped while jogging on a residential Georgia street and shot to death for no apparent reason, Mr. Trump said it was “very disturbing” but added that the gunmen might have reacted to “something that we didn’t see on the tape.” The refusal to condemn the attack outright led black activists to complain that even in the face of what looked like murder, Mr. Trump felt the need to nod to his “largely white coalition,” according to The Washington Post.
“When you have hate emanating from the Oval Office, why are we surprised?” said Karen Bass, a California congresswoman who heads the Congressional Black Caucus, about the shooting.
Black Americans have had enough. They have an explosive, personal investment in defeating Mr. Trump in 2020. More than 80 percent of them say Mr. Trump is a racist. For them, defeating him is the civil rights movement of 2020. …"
The Biden comment, “If you don’t vote for me, you ain’t black” was probably an ill chosen statement since it assumes Black folks votes can be counted on to vote Democratic. But, therein lies one of the problems with Clinton’s 2016 election: the black folks stayed home. This also raises the question for 2020, who else should Black folks vote for. It’s not like they should follow Dump’s suggestion, “Vote for me, what have you got to loose?” What do you have to loose: how about everything.
Black folks need to get their act together and vote for Joe. He’s not black, he stumbles around on his words, and he’s not as forceful as Bernie, but they can’t vote for Dump! And, staying at home this time might kill us all, black and white.
Trump was asked about Elon Musk, in reference to Tesla stock vs GM and Ford:
Here is a Transcript of what Trump actually said.
TRUMP: Well — you have to give him credit. I spoke to him very recently, and he’s also doing the rockets. He likes rockets. And — he does good at rockets too, by the way. I never saw where the engines come down with no wings, no anything, and they’re landing. I said I’ve never seen that before. And I was worried about him, because he’s one of our great geniuses, and we have to protect our genius. You know, we have to protect Thomas Edison and we have to protect all of these people that — came up with originally the light bulb and - the wheel and all of these things. And he’s one of our very smart people and we want to- we want to cherish those people.
We have to Protect Thomas Edison? Um… He’s Dead.
We have to Protect these people – the wheel!……? and all of these things
He does good at rockets? is that English?
Go ahead and read that statement out loud it is funny than it looks.
Trump is losing the women in general, and in losing the black women, he has lost one of the linchpins of our society. You look around at the black women elected to offices all over the nation and you see a phalanx of strength and determination. They didn’t get where they are by any privilege but by their own abilities, tested in the fire the way a white man is never tested.
No matter how bad you think Joe is.. he is still.. by a long shot.. better than the trump. You know them both, and really.. you still don’t know what is best for America.. sheesh
A letter to the editor in the Dallas paper today was from a 74 year old saying he hated everything Trump does, but he’s still voting for Trump because “there’s no other choice.” Apparently both the writer and Chip get all their news from Tucker Carlson.
Wow, Trump supporters are really scraping the bottom of the barrel for material. I guess that’s what happens when you try to defend the indefensible for too long.
“If they are coming at you with a knife or something can’t you shoot them in the leg or something rather than the heart”. paraphrasing Joe . Cops should shoot it outta their hand. BLM

I see. So it’s Joe Biden who is at the core of racism in America.
We could solve the energy crisis if we could hook that spin up to a turbine. Then again, it might cause cancer.

Not to overanalyze but shouldn’t the upper left box be 2008, not 2000? Or is this a subtle “Why wasn’t Obama in the White House on 9/11?”
