The fact that some people can’ figure out how the pyramids were built means that those people are dumber than the people who actually built them.
This should not be an insult. Do not confuse lack of technology with lack of intelligence. I am sure that there were a number of cavemen with the IQ of da Vinci, Newton, Einstein or Hawking.
I think that the wonder of the pyramids isn’t in their design or even their physical construction but in the organization it took to pull it off. It had to be on par with the Manhattan Project or Apollo Program except sustained over a longer time period.

Where Marigolds chin is being held up by his right hoof does anyone else see the face of a man with a goatee and a lot of hair? It looks to me like he’s sitting down to play the piano.
I tend to think the pyramids were a gigantic public works program to keep people busy and spend the wealth the Pharaohs acquired in a way that would further empower the Pharaohs. Sort of like Mansions or modern castles.
Wiley mentioned a new theme coming up. I wonder if his plan is to re-discover the 7 man-made wonders of the world? His interpretation would be something to see.
I don’t remember where, but I read once that there have been at least 5 major ice ages and there is one postulation that a somewhat advanced hominid civilization could have risen between any one of them. An interesting thought anyways.
