And one’s a direct and life threatening problem, whereas the other is completely under the control of politicians who could and can control it if they only will.

Thank heaven we did not squander any money on stockpiling medical supplies, nor waste any on the cost of the pandemic response structure that was in place when Trump took office.

Trump threw us into debt when he cut all the taxes on the wealthy. We had to increase debt during the recession, but after the recession we needed to pay it off. Instead, he increased it. Now, when we have to borrow in order to avoid a depression, we are already deeply in debt. Why do people support him? He is a disaster.

They broke the glass ceiling….but it’s ok, it’s the GOP doing it….if the Dems spend that much it’s ongoing harassment for decades…..the elephant never forgets….anything, Benghazi, Clinton, etc etc etc….because THEY GOT NOTHING ELSE!

But Mikey was Fine with the Tax cut that meant we were going into debt to 2 trillion dollars a year, but once poor people even get a sliver of that largess…. The Debt is going to kill us all.

After Obama cut annual deficits by 60%, Trump exploded deficits back up to a Trillion annual. And that was before Coronavirus.

Ramirez is a true Conservative, money means more than human life. Good that he shows his true colors.

Trump lies about governors being happy with the federal government’s response to the crisis. Multiple governors around the country, including Republican Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker, have slammed Trump for creating a system for buying supplies in which states have to viciously compete against one another.

Trump takes credit for the job New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo has done handling the pandemic. Cuomo has received rave reviews for how he’s tackled the coronavirus crisis, and his approval rating has soared to more than 70 percent.

Trump gives China and Russia a pass for spreading misinformation about the virus. After being asked about a Washington Post report about China and Russia trying to sow chaos by spreading lies about the virus, Trump suggested it was no big deal.

“They do it and we do it,” he said. “Every country does it.”

Trump spreads falsehoods about the Green New Deal and once again makes unhinged comments about windmills. The president falsely claimed that the proposed Green New Deal would ban all airplane travel and also falsely claimed that it would limit every American family to owning just one electric-powered car.Trump wonders why the U.S. and Russia aren’t allies anymore like they were during World War II.

Suddenly the Conservative mindset feels the deficit and debt is worse than a viral pandemic health crisis. Pathetic.

We need more debt! What ever happened to those staunch conservative republicans who though we should balance the budget?

Trump ran up the deficit not to help the economy, but to give a tax break for the wealthy. They need to be able to social distance themselves on their million dollar yachts!
