Ravencroft may have unintentionally created the gateway that allowed Eye to grab him. Tagger may already be consumed. But don’t mind me, I’m just a hungry pessimist.
Bugs Bunny did use portable holes, didn’t he? Maybe they need some of those to travel through dimensions. Aaron used a hole to enter Endtown didn’t he.? He also used one to escape Deadeye.
Interesting, when you think that one of the tropes of animated cartoons (think of the comic that’s been shown) is an animated character drawing holes and tunnels on walls.

Wuh oh, Wally’s remembering those drawings on the wall back in Eden.

Oh, Ravenscroft. what have ye wrought with thy little marker?
A tangible gate, from which entered your fate…
And now we have an explanation for the weirdness that happened when Wally touched the drawings.

So the map is the land… at least for gates.

Ravenscroft was working on that until his sudden demise. Our tagger is probably doing the same thing between tagging.

An occupant? That would explain the toothbrushes Alan found on the way in. Hope it’s a friendly one.

Draw a door on the wall, walk through it…

So, they are likely headed for (cue sinister music) the Apex of the lighthouse…
And where has Alan got to?
And those stairs are definitely not the original ones (which had to be wide enought to permit loads of firewood to be carried up)…

So, this is what people mean when they “read the lay of the land?” This craziness is just off the charts.

Shades of quantum effects…the observer, merely by observing, affecting and fixing the reality observed.

You know….I wonder if this is Ted’s origin story. 3k years trying to figure out the multiverse would drive anyone batty.
So then what could be waiting for them at the top of that tower?

The existence of this particular topsider strongly suggests that there are other topsiders who were not enemies of the “mutants.”
Who the Sam Hill is she? Are they?
