How many flares are they saving to get the rescuers’ attention? Oh. Ooops.

If you didge his flare, you are still safe, and have one of your own, just in case.

It would have been much prettier at night.

Four days later, Steve wondered if there were some other way the flare could have been used…

If you own a gun, do believe that you thought the other guy was going to shoot you, so you shot him first?

Do “I believe that I thought”? Interesting question, let me think about that.

Reminds me of an old Andy Capp comic where, after getting into a scuffle, he explains to the police, “I thought he was going to hit me, so I hit him back first”.

As the flairs sizzle in the ocean waters…duh!
