I’m just a little black oak acorn / Rollin’ under the oak tree / I’m only a little black oak acorn / Pay no attention to little me.

Oh, everyone knows that a acorn / Never chase silly squirrels, no, not a nip / I’m just rollin’ around over the ground / Wonderin’ where I will set my roots.

I can’t speak for the squirrel, but I think Rover looks very fetching in Mom’s beret!

If I was a squirrel, I would be more afraid of a huge, four-legged moving acorn than a dog. Better try a different camouflage, Rover.

I know that the mighty oak was once a nut like rover.

Red, how clever of you! But what will you do if you capture one? Probably let them go and chase them again!!

No matter how Brian draws it, I still think Rover is the smarter of the two.

100 dogs, we test today, but only 1 wins the “Brown Beret.”

Just be happy the beret doesn’t have a pompom on top. My mom was almost attacked by a large hawk who thought her hat was a bunny. He was within a few feet of her head before he realized his mistake and pulled up.

He wore a taaaaaaaaaan beret. The kind you buy at a second-hand store.

I think most squirrels are smart enough to see through his disguise. But I’m sure there are still plenty of them that are stupid enough to fall for it.
