I wear mismatched hobo clothes on purpose. Mortifies my wife and kids.

could be Quiet Time. there is a phrase “ON THE QT” which means in a quiet or secret way". also, those clothes are a quite big to be Dill’s.

Those kids are glutons for punishment…

Guys – you don’t want to push this too far. Alice will have a melt-down and then you’ll be sorry.

I was still wearing hand me down clothes that were rejected by the clown family with no fashion sense when I finished high school. I had to destroy the pictures but the burnt orange sweater vest over the checkered and striped Roy Rogers cowboy shirt and the lime green corduroy pants are indelibly imprinted on my mind. That was a typical outfit I wore in high school in the late 1980’s.

Now she has no mulch to throw at them in her pockets. Poor thing.
